Cop Out

Cop Out brings Kevin Smith to LaserPacific for the third time.

cop_out_stillDue for release by Warner Brothers on February 26th 2010, Kevin Smith's latest movie, Cop Out, stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as cops who find a stolen baseball card, rescue a Mexican woman, whilst dealing with gangsters and money laundering. Unlike all his previous movies, Kevin Smith did not write the script for this one - it was written by Robb Cullen and Mark Cullen. He did again choose to work with cinematographer David Klein and LaserPacific's senior colorist Dave Cole.

The collaboration between director Kevin Smith and David Klein stretches back sixteen years to Smith's directorial debut Clerks in 1994. Since then, David Klein has shot over twenty movies, including four more with Kevin Smith: Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Clerks 2 and most recently, Zack and Miri Make a Porno. For Cop Out, their latest collaboration, they again chose to work with LaserPacific's senior colorist Dave Cole on the digital intermediate grading. LaserPacific delivered a film negative, HD video masters and a digital cinema package.
