Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor Star in I Love You Phillip Morris

Based on a true story, I Love You Phillip Morris tells the tale of Steven Jay Russell, a resourceful ex-cop and con-man, played by Jim Carrey, who meets Phillip Morris, the love of his life (Ewan McGregor) in the state penitentiary and embarks on a relentless pursuit of him involving multiple escapes and various complicated cons. It is the directorial debut of Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the talented writing team behind Bad Santa and Cats and Dogs whose career in Hollywood began at Nickelodeon.  They teamed up with acclaimed Mexican cinematographer Xavier Pérez Grobet (The Woodsman, Nacho Libre, Music and Lyrics) who graded the movie at LaserPacific with senior colorist Mike Sowa.

I Love You Phillip Morris premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival in January and will be released in the United States by the Consolidated Film Group on March 26th 2010.
