POSITION SUMMARY:
LaserPacific Media Corporation is seeking a programmer interested in part time employment within a growing department tasked with systems creation and database design at our busy post production facility in Hollywood. Interested candidates must have web application experience, and be comfortable with both database architecting and hands-on coding. A working knowledge of Television and Film production and post production a plus.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be required to work on projects as directed by the head of Systems Developement. These projects will be deadline oriented and based on existing designs. Onsite meetings will be expected for assignment and testing, but most work can be conducted remotely.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced proficiency and a minimum of 2 years experience and strong project portfolio in Web PHP and MySQL Database development.
• Working knowledge of HTML (hand-coding), JavaScript, AJAX, Flash/ActionScript, Perl, Shell scripting, etc.
• Proficiency with OSX, Win, Linux, and Apache.
• Experience with Web/MySQL database server configuration and maintenance.
• Must be skilled at both front end and back end development.
• Excellent communications and organizational skills.
